OK, so, is it safe to test the bull waters again? I don't think so. The following link is the 50pt Naz. It shows the entire bear market. There are various ways of counting the number of climactic down moves, but no matter how you count them there is exactly one example where there wasn't either a retest of the lows or *new* lows after the climactic selling and then return to the BRL. That one example was for Sept/Oct 2001 and I think that we can safely classify that as an anomaly.
