Baldur, I know about government garbage, but it cannot be put out on the curb for the truck in a day, or one administration. There is too much of it. There is probably some "turning a blind eye" in the SEC, but in the case of the Clinton administration, the President never conferred with the SEC chairman once. The President, himself, turned a blind eye to the corruption of the CEOs that is now bankrupting citizens. Bush is after their collective asses, but it will take time. Since the President does not have the power to do so, the citizens should realize the need to sweep the corruption out of both houses of Congress, and do something about it. I'll bet the Democrats are really proud of Traficant.
