so, pete, accountants like to compare finding ways to expense employee compensation with capitalizing operating expenses (the latter being illegal, correct? boy, accountants have a hard time distinguishing between legal and illegal!). and we are to take them seriously? ;-) the "people" who want to see it are the current or future owners of his company. otherwise, he wouldn't care. in ge's case, it shaves a penny off earnings. not too bad. msft? that's another story.
