Let's try and figure who is stupid here and who is ignorant as you call me when stating THERE IS NO TOP.
The point is this. When one averages down, you can only do so until a stock goes to "0", so there is a bottom.
When one shorts, you can average up and up and up. THERE IS NO TOP. How would you like to have been shorting Intel or Microsoft over the past year? That's my point and I hope I have simplified it enough so everybody understands it!
