Seybold isn't precious to me. This thread is, though.
I've tried to address this matter with you in private, back when I thought you knew how to tie your shoes.

rob- imho this pawn shop thing is the sort of schoolyard taunt that proliferates the rancor and therefore skews the logic for which a placid and unemotional mind is required. I am not tracing the history of this post, and indeed, like the last time your post may have its origins in an earlier post directed to you. I am simply recommending that the best appraoch is to not respond in kind, and certainly not initiate.
I value the bear perspective here. This thread will be so much more useful as a platform for the expression of depersonalized, intellectually honest, discussion as opposed to name calling.
If this sounds preachy, forgive me. And I assure you that you will find plenty examples in my posting history of exactly the sort of conduct I am deploring here.
I am trying, however.
The thread has been a great source of idaes and information, both pro and con, down through the years. I'd like to see it remain that way.
Best regards.>
I apologize to the thread for taking up so much space with this morning's colloquy with robv.I'm not going to waste anymore of your time on it. I've said my piece, and I'm happy with the way I said it. Go ahead and have the last word if you like, rob. I'm outta here. |
