How to make money on Hop-On (disposable phone) stock.

sfgate.com
indicates this is just another penny stock scam. The article shows that the disposable phone Hop-On handed out that they plan to sell reatail for $30 with 60 minutes on it is actually a Nokia in new plastic that wholesales for over $200! Yikes!

My first thought looking at Hop-On was that it is impossible to build a good cheap phone for ~$15 which is what they need to do to sell them for $30. But what the heck do I know. Well apparently more than I thought.

My current plan is to wait for this hype-cycle to die down, let Hop-on stock go back to $0.02 or so, buy a few hundred buck$ worth. Then wait until their next spew of PR crud, and dump it at $1 or $0.35 or whatever it gets to. The downside risk is that they are all arrested before another cycle can complete.

To the moon,
Ralph
