I saved my 2001 tax cut. I did not invest it or spend it so my tax cut did nothing to stimulate the economy. There is the fallacy of the Bush tax cuts. They went disproportionately to the upper income group who saved the money rather than investing or consuming. Therefore, no economic stimulus.
