Anybody care to comment why Lam Research is positive today on relatively heavy volume. Rajiv Sure. They gave guidance that was for higher shipments (Revenue) in the next Q even though it was less than expected by the market. Many of the others seem to have said flat or lower. Also, check out its valuation on price/book, price/sales and PEG basis compared to NVLS and AMAT. quicken.com Then again, I added to my position lately at a lower than current price so I like to think I am smart. I could just be lucky. :)
