15:10 ET Silicon Labs seeing competition from Skyworks-- Thomas Weisel (SLAB) 25.10 -2.41: Thomas Weisel says that checks indicate that SWKS (+19.0%) has indeed started to compete with SLAB in merchant transceivers for mobile phones; however, firm expects the co's RF device sales will continue to ramp strongly in 2H02 and into 2003, and although growth thereafter will be tempered as volume competition comes in, firm expects higher-margin new wireline products to kick in and support additional rev growth.
