Morgan Stanley's Roach was just on CNBC... He said he sees a 60-65% probability that the U.S. economy will experience 'a double dip' between now and the end of 2002...he feels its a rising probability at this juncture...The risks he cited that force him to think this way are low savings, high debt, layoffs, wealth destruction, etc....The only thing that could save the economy is an unusually strong and resilient consumer.
