Screw the speeches politicians make, who turns to them for truth? As far as my comments about Reagan/Bush/Bush "consistently underestimating" economic growth numbers when making budgetary projections - compared to the Clinton estimates, facts are facts. What I claimed is demonstrable fact. It is historical record now (except for W now... I only pointed out that both the CBO and the Republican's own budget organization - as well as private economists - reject his projections as fanciful.) Official US economic statistics prove the point re Reagan/Bush and Clinton/Gore's growth projections incorporated into their proposed budgets.
