The attached file is a two-page synopsis of a 47-page research report on the silver industry that has just been issued by National Bank Financial in Canada. National Bank is one of Canada's Big Six chartered banks and this is the first broker report on silver and Silver Standard to have been written since 1996. The writers are Ian Howat, senior base metals analyst for National Bank Financial, and his associate Johann Aler.
The full report, which is being distributed to National Bank Financial's institutional clients, covers the silver market, the silver industry, a discussion of option-based pricing of silver equities, and a comparison of Pan American Silver, Silver Standard, Coeur d'Alene, Hecla, and Apex Silver.
