Some good news courtesy of Joe H. on the mod thread.

After steep declines in April and May, total retail PC unit sales in June were down just 1.1 percent compared with June 2001. But they rose 24.2 sequentially from May of this year, somewhat more than usual, according to market researcher NPDTechworld.
