UAL hired bankruptcy attorneys UPI-COMTEX MARKET ALERT - August 02, 2002 13:46 CHICAGO, Aug 02, 2002 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Financially pressed United Airlines Friday confirmed a Business Week report it hired bankruptcy attorneys. The news sent United stock prices tumbling. A $5.22 stock is down $1.11, more than 20%. I think LUV is by far the better investment.
