Hi Dave, I still have quite a few albums and a record player. Last year I came across one of those yellow adapters for 45-rpm records. I asked an engineer who was about 30 what it was. He had no idea. He guessed that it was some kind of washer. My favorite thing in C-Rats was the canned peaches or fruit cocktail. My biggest surprise came when I opened one box and found a small canned fruitcake from Denison, TX where I had spent a fair amount of time. Indecently, Denison is the birthplace of Dwight Eisenhower. We had a real tree our first Christmas in the home we just paid for. After Christmas, I took it out to the backyard and set a match to it. The tree exploded in flame. Since it was the season, artificial trees were on sale and I went and bought one. It is unbelievable the people with big nice houses that will go out and buy a damn dead tree to put in the living room. They are dangerous and a fire hazard. * * *
