Re: "I am sorry that is the case."

I only bought a little bit of QQQ back when ($74?, I don't remember exact cost off-hand), so it didn't hurt me much. I'm still far better off than I would have been if I had just held everything from Jan 2000 to now.

Currently, I'm very heavy in GNMA (that's been great!), money markets, bonds, and T-bills. I also held on to some of the "value stocks" that have stayed the same or actually gone up over the past couple of years.

As you probably remember, my investment style is to ease in and out of the market, without making big jumps all at once. Oh, I've had a few losers, but all in all, I've survived the bear quite well. As far as today's QQQ trade, it's my first step to get "back in," aside from some minor dollar-cost averaging that I've continued throughout the bear.

I've also been watching some individual tech stocks with interest, but I decided to avoid the specific-stock risk for a bit. Still, AMAT, CSCO, and some of the others are starting to look a lot better then they did a couple of years ago.

Hope you've been well.

Best wishes,

I2
