I agree. I have nothing but the greatest respect for those who dedicate all or part of their lives to serving the country in the military all branches and National Guards included. I'll say something else: My generation was very disrespectful of the military and treated them badly for service they gave whether given either patriotically or by compulsion. I dread what could have happened if Reagan hadn't stepped in and turned us around. You get what you deserve often times, and in the latter part of the sixties some of us didn't deserve much.
