Sometimes I wish I had a tape recorder hooked up to my phone and I just had one of those times. I got a call from a guy who said he was representing the Illinois State Troopers Lodge 14 and they were going to have a don't drink and drive campaign and they were going to send me some literature next week. All he wanted today was my pledge of $14 or more by the end of the month. Right, $13 to the telemarketer and a buck to buy 5 pencils with don't drink and drive on them. I told him no and he says they will be sending a donation envelope in the literature and My refusal to help will be kept on file at the Attorney Generals Office. The Attorney General should have a copy of that threat.
