Bill Gross of PIMCO has called for Fed to hike a 0.25 for a while now. He said the low rate doesn't not help corporate at all - only a handful of triple a companies can borrow at a rate that is still higher than a first time home buyer ! and the A and Baa guys have to pay double digit to borrow. he said Greenspan has a problem. the rate cut does not work, it has not worked since Jan 2001 and has not worked after 4.75% cut, why would it work now ?
