I think that is a really long article for a guy like me who has a short attention span to read. But seriously, the fact that Buffett is buying into Level 3 does not impress me at all. I agree with the basic premise of the article and I believe that Buffett is early in his investment. I am expecting at least one more of the big telecom SPs to go under and I expect NT or LU to disappear. Also, we need a lot more carnage in Silicon Valley with the telecom equip vendors. However, I do think that the survivors will be good investments after all the smoke clears.
