Robert Hitt wrote this today in his weekly Astro commentary for the outlook into 2003. I have high regard for him and his work which is why I teamed up with him last year.

The emergence of Jupiter and Neptune opposition INFLATION should be
apparent to all by late month. What is the most inflationary thing that can
happen to a country? WAR. AND the inflation tends to emerge AFTER a
victory more than during a conflict. This time the Saudi's will NOT be paying
the bill and may instead be inclined to cut oil production (or be in such internal
chaos that production could be halted).

Keep in mind that an oil crisis now will be very different from the 1970s. Lets
consider for a minute how the twin major aspects of Saturn trine Uranus and
Jupiter opposition to Neptune that last into June 2003 may ACTUALLY benefit
some sectors. For one thing the infrastructure of the internet is a
'transportation' system that does not use oil. Any oil shock in the present tense
could be quite a benefit to those sectors who have a solution. Fuel cells come to
mind also.
Japanese auto makers have the only viable hybrid cars. Even solar
power may come back in vogue. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT.
