FNS: FWIW, COMS "strength" could be a consequence of the court's enforcement of the injunction barring sale in the US of 26 of the competing Xircom/Intel networking products. That injunction removes Intel competition from the markets for those products until a trial has been held and decided, say at least a year. I haven't researched exactly which Intel/Xircom product lines are affected and what % of 3Com's sales are likely to be boosted by the removal of these Intel/Xircom products from the market, so this is just a guess/opinion on my part rather than a conclusion based on factual research.
