Checking a bit further, drives are Maxtor DX740-6L 7200 RPM ATA133 with 2MB Buffer and if I remember, identical seek time of 8. something..

Only question in my mind is how reliable and quiet are these drives.. The guy did suggest Seagate Barracuda IV with fluid bearing ATA100 drives.. 7200 RPM with 2mb buffer but a tad slower in seek time but apparently quieter.. identical prices but some reason I ended up choosing Maxtor..

Have till Tuesday a.m. to change my mind..
