I really liked that Mc Lean or whatever it was. And Taco Bell had a low fat line that i thought was GREAT- of course they quit offering that as well. I like the Veggie burger at Burger King- but I have to wonder how long it will be available. Sigh

I don't know why we can't blame the vendors. The blame, imo, can be equally shared by vendor and consumer. The Vendors to some extent create the desires in the consumers- they (for their convenience and profit) have made servings MUCH larger, and burgers far far greasier- with all these specialty burger that have cheese and goo and bacon and what have you. With the sophistication of marketing and advertising it is possible to create the customer- rather than "offering what the customer wants". And this is triply true for children. It is possible to make children want just about whatever you want them to want. Many adults aren't all that different.
