My mom divorced when I was 2 and I'm an only child. She was pretty tough with a belt. After I was grown she confessed she was always afraid of me getting bigger than her and not being able to control me. I rarely ever got away with anything and my friends hated her because that meant trouble for them. As for not having siblings, my wife likes not having the extra in-laws. * * *
