We need to find a couple of 30 year old kids with lots of energy and bankroll them to start one here in the Wayzata area. Word has it the folks at Krispy Kreme corporate require that prospective franchisees have $5.0 million in net worth before they will even talk to them about a location. McDonalds, OTOH, requires net worth of $1.0 million. Dollar for dollar, if you want to be a purveyor of cholesterol, it would seem the McDonalds franchise is the way to go. But then, you have to attend Hamburger University.
