<"I agree, That is why I said in my original message">

Um, no.

Actually, in your original message you said, <"as long as inflation is non-existent so will be gold."> Then you said,
<"Inflation as measured by CPI and PPI is NON-EXISTENT.">

This is obviously an assertion by you that there was no inflation because the CPI did not show any.

So you did _not_ agree with me, because I said that there _is_ inflation and that the CPI is incorrect.

<"during the past 2 years my expenses have declined">
<"But as I said, your mileage where you live may vary.">

I think it will too. The population of Nevada is 2 million or 0.7% of the U.S. population. The population of the Bay Area is over 6 million, or three times the population of the state of NV. LA is around 10-15 million or so. California is 34 million or around 12% of the US population.

California's GSP is 1.3 trillion, total US is 9.9 trillion, Nevada's is 0.075 trillion.

I guess I think that, even if things in NV are cheaper, it's not really important because NV is not economically relevant.

So, if you want to make arguments about inflation using Quicken, "maybe you need to move to a different state."
