Actually, I suspect that all asset holders, of every kind (including cash of all flavors), will get hosed roughly, some by inflation, others by deflation, and some others by outright loss of capital, confiscation, fraud, or taxes, same difference.
The winner is the one who lost the least. This is what global depression is all about, no prisoners.
