07:48 ET Lehman cautious on computer hardware : Lehman's Dan Niles says that although firm has become incrementally more positive on the computer hardware segment and that IT spending in the U.S. will hit bottom in Q3, he believes earnings ests will be reduced to match and that the rest of the world will follow heading into next year; does not see any catalyst for IT spending to return to the double-digit rates of growth of the tech/Internet bubble at any time in the near future, and thinks the computer hardware industry is starting to show early signs of maturation. (Note that Lehman changes their rating system today.)
