Interesting. I had always assumed most cultures brain wash their children to some extent using such tools. And to some extent such propaganda at an early age allows the students to have common ground. I think the pledge is a pretty good tool, as such tools go, save for the under God part- what do you think? I mean even if there really don't have liberty and justice for all, those are nice ideals to believe in.
