That is a strange story though. It sure doesn't sound in character. I was particularly interested in the snippet about the handwriting. I had a little boy in my class this summer who was absolutely hell on wheels for the first week of school. He spit, he kicked, he did so many inappropriate things I won't bother to list them all. Since the parents were called so many times by the principal they took the little boy to the doctor and got his medication switched. The change was unbelievable. And even his handwriting changed. It had been large, and shaky- it got smaller and more rounded.

I mention this partly because I have never really witnessed such profound effects of a drug on behavior before, and also so that parents out there may look to handwriting as a clue to behavior. I am certainly going to be watching for changes in my children's handwriting as they grow up.
