I was responding to your suggestion that we get too extreme. I don't think my views of the market and economy are extreme at all. I think that I have pretty realistic views when I don't trust gov't supplied econ numbers.

The comments about the market were to point out that the market is telling us something if we are willing to listen.

As far as the actual trading, I do what works for me. And as long as it is working, I will keep on doing it.

I don't particularly like the ODOD concept. I have been burned by it in the past. We called them dead cat bounces. Sometimes they worked, but sometimes they were disasters. If they work for you, great, but I don't understand how to tell what is a good one and what is a bad one. So I stay away.
