Just checking in to update the Kearney "Cash the CD's, mortgage the house" portfolio (see message 122910), now 16 months into its 36-month timeframe. As of today, the portfolio is down 71% from its starting value, and almost 86% from its peak value a little over 14 months ago. As an aside, I guess it's good in a perverse way that Crawford has given up his pretenses and gone headlong into unveiled anti-Semitism. Score one for intellectual honesty if nothing else.
