AMAT is now closing in on reaching the state of being "irresistable" at 2 times price/book (according to your suggestions). Is there any specific reason why it should not drop further, even a lot further? Price/earnings is right now at 652, I can´t remember where it was at previous cycle lows. This time the difference appears to be that there is no upcycle coming, just a shrinking (or frozen or japanized) world economy without any substantial drivers for growth at all.
