Ref < Isabella Ave, Atherton 1 bedroom 1 bath house listing for 20+ million > You are not paying for the tiny house, but THE LAND that goes with it. The listing does not show the lot size. The photograph shows that it is large enough to be sub-divided into several building sites. This lot is also close enough to El Camino Real, that it may already have been rezoned for commercial usage. During the boom several very popular restaurants, and several retail stores were forced to shut down, because the landlords demolished the buildings and put up commercial office buildings. Now all those commercial office spaces are vacant. Miles and miles of vacant office buildings now dot Silicon Valley.
