You're scaring me now Ted.

You don't have an opinion should CNN report any upcoming unannounced military operation plans?

Steve, I guess what I am saying is that I am more worried about the issue of free speech than I am about upcoming military operations. Both are important......but free speech wins out for me.

June 4, 1944 and you were a reporter covering the war and you give shortwave news reports back every night to the US. You get lost and stumble across the Europe invasion force. You would report it on your nightly June 4 broadcast?

Unbelievable.

Steve, the question isn't whether I would report it or not. The question is what are the parameters that determine when restricting a news story is appropriate and when it is not. Obviously, shouting fire in a crowded movie theater is not a responsible act when there is no fire, and can not be considered an appropriate example of freedom of speech. I am sure the Supreme Ct. has ruled on the issue in question.......you might want to look it up.

Having said that, in spite of what you apparently think, the mainstream media is not always irresponsible. Besides the invasion of Iraq has been telegraphed by Bush for months now. So why are you all bent out of shape?

Is it because you want an excuse to close down the mainstream media when you take over completely?
