Dan, <The Clinton administration thought we should go after Al-Quida in January 2000>

Clinton already tried back in 1998 with that useless cruise missile attack.

Tenchusatsu, and please tell me how this administration has done much better at ten, twenty, thirty etc times the amount of money?

And before you tell me the Taliban are gone........the reality is that's not true. They just took out Afghanistan's new VP. The new Pres. is so freaked US troops are guarding him..... apparently, he does not trust his own.

There have been skirmishes in a number of villages and in the mts. And the rest of them are apparently in Pakistan wreaking havoc. I fear this war will drag on and on and will cost us a fortune, and still we will end up like the Russians.....defeated and dragging our tails between our legs as we leave.

In the meantime, whether bin Laden is dead or not has become a moot point because I understand his son is rising up in the ranks of Ai-Qaeda very quickly and developing his own contingency of followers.

So stop with the Clinton bashing..........he went into the thing with one arm tied behind his back unlike the current president. Besides, there is no guarantee at all that the current administration will succeed. The results so far are disappointing.
