But if you're right, of course, you had no choice but to write that message. And all the people who wrote all the things they've ever written had not choice but to write them. Neocon has no choice but to be intellectual, so he gets no credit for it. JLA has no choice but to be a pompous ignoramus with fewer social graces than a jackal, so we shouldn't blame him for being that. Karen has no choice but to be nonconfrontational and positive, so I shouldn't think kindly of her as though she made the choice to be that way, since it wasn't a choice, she has no option to be other than that -- but then, it wasn't a choice of mine to think kindly of her, I had no choice but to do that, too.
And Poet and I had no choice but each to post the way we did, so there is neither credit nor blame for either of us, just both of us working out the inevitable and necessary paths that have been set for us since before our birth.
