I agree and appologize. Coming back to Your "Royalty killed by fascism and nacism, not by French revolution": French revolution was ~1790, Fascism & Co 1920+.

That makes 130 years in between, that include the whole industrial revolution, tons of war, rise and start of decline of British empire, the coming-of-age of Capitalism etc.

That's what created new ruling classes. That's what made royalties dwindle to insignificance. And not (just) French revolution or fascism & nacism.

Think processes and not some pars-pro-toto individuals / groupings / occasions / signals.
