The benchmark 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 220.09 points, or 2.27 percent, at 9,484.84 Tuesday. The index slipped 4.75 points, or 0.05 percent, to 9,704.93 Monday.
The dollar bought 119.61 yen at 11 a.m. (0200 GMT) Tuesday, up 0.41 yen from late Monday in Tokyo and above its late New York level of 119.01 yen.
The fed has lost all credibility here.We and the world dont believe the numbers. Lets get our little rally after the carnage in the a/m.
