This is way beyond the point where there is anything to be gained by assigning blame -- and there is plenty to go around. It is a simple fact of life: For both Israelis and Palestinians, all people need to believe they have a future in order to live as human beings here and now. It is human nature. Without a future there is only the descent into hell which the whole world is witnessing and which is felt every day in the streets of Israel and the Palestinian territories. It is that simple. No future, no hope, no peace, no humanity. If the US wants to be a leader in the Arab world, create a path towards a peaceful future for both Israelis and Palestinians.
