Thanks for the article -- with leadership like that in Washington it is little wonder why we are isolated. This about oil. This is about us seizing oil fields. I found this part interesting "If the Saudis refused to comply, the briefing continued, Saudi oil fields and overseas financial assets should be "targeted," although exactly how was not specified." The article goes on to say that Iraq is not the real target -- Saudi Arabia is the target and by seizing control of Iraqi oil first and then threatening to seize control of Saudi Arabia's oil fields after that we can install "friendly" governments in both countries -- I suppose the next step is to seize the oil fields in Iran and install a new government there. Washington's mid-east policy is in some sort of hallucinagenic chaos.
