Yeah, and the German soldiers who missed out on the invasion of Poland sure missed a good time, too. And the people who missed out on the witch-burnings in the sixteenth century sure missed out on some big fun. And most especially, all the people who stayed behind and minded their business during the Crusades sure missed out on a lot. Now I have a very promising tulip bulb . . . The story is by no means over on silver. I do not recall Fleckenstein being that enthusiastic about gold. The only people I know of who made a great deal of money on the bubble are in the process of losing it now as they try vainly to catch one bottom after another. The mania is by no means over. Stocks are still on the whole greatly overvalued in terms of the possible future profitability of the companies.
