I wouldn't buy based on the futures this am....but it looks like a short squeeze starting. Maybe they haven't read this <g> any reason will do, when so oversold. You should see the chart between 3 and 5 or so, straight up. No liquidity so it doesn't take a lot. 7:47 ET S&P futures vs fair value: +6.0. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: +15.5. Reports of German asset allocation shift out of bonds into equities being talked up as reason behind stronger futures this morning. While DAX has posted an impressive 2.3% gain, an allocation call out of Germany (if true), would hardly seem enough to break the bear bias in the U.S. I'm taking the day off ...it's beautiful here today, and cool FINALLY, too nice to stay inside. See you guys tomorrow!
