To tell you the truth I do not know, The EUR had no business to be above 0.98 in the first place IMHO even with the growing trade deficit.

The problem is that now that most hedge funds have moved from equities to currencies and the whole issue is a mess. The big banks make a fortune out of the volatility.

The story of yesterday is passe trade deficit does not count and "growth" now counts.

Now I am down on my core holdings of EUR's and was wipsawed by the volatility

Since June the monkeys are running the show and the USD index may see 110

I was surprised by the US economic weakness and I think stagflation in the US is around the corner
