len, The only reason I can think of that cojones are also called huevos, is when the person doing the talking is thinking of hard boiled eggs. I doubt if it means "over easy", or "scrambled".
I think the letter "J" is so far in the history of mankind, that it is hard to tell. It seems to have been used extensively in most European languages, but was pronounced differently in different cultures. Spanish can be a little tricky, considering that a "J" is pronounced like an "H", the "H" is silent, some of the "N"s have a ~ over them, and questions are usually formed backward in comparison to English. Then a person has the problem with speaking New World Spanish, as opposed to Castillian Spanish in Spain. Plaza, is pronounce "platha" in Spain, and there are other variations that I know nothing about. I learned what Spanish I still know, from my many Mexican friends in Texas, and multiple trips to Mexico. |
