Lehman Says Fed to Cut Interest Rates moneycentral.msn.com WS gets excited? or just Kudlow's clans? for the last 18 months the interest rates cut didn't prevent dow's 2000 point drop and BK of worldcom, enron, and tons of other telecom companies. so what makes different this time? i know a friend's uncle who is retired, he couldn't endure the low interest rates from his retired saving account and put the money on wcom around $10 per share (he thought he was getting the bargain compared to $60 two years ago), then he lost big sum of that saving.
