Relatives are harder to give up on. The old adage, "Hate the sin, Love the sinner" comes into play more. People can be assisted, but it doesn't work until they take responsibility for their own lives. Sometimes they never do. The bottom line is. If your life is a mess because of everybody else, you are in a shit load of trouble, because you can't do anything about everybody else.
