I read enough of that stuff already. It's very bizarre, and frightening.

OTOH, paranoid psychosis seems to be ubiquitous if not universal. Take, for example, the French best-seller that claims that no plane actually struck the Pentagon.

My sister, who is a flaming liberal, spent hours trying to convince a friend of hers that the book was full of hooey, and finally gave up, baffled. This is the sister who touted the virtues of chador when she was dating an Iranian.

And, speaking of things which are baffling, how about chador? Female circumcision? Child slavery? Sex tours? Forced abortion? Jerry Falwell?

BTW, as you know, Egyptian official presses print the blood libel garbage, too, and I don't see any serious argument that Egypt is our enemy.
