But it certainly is a fact it ended. And in the context of run offness it sure didn't last long. You can say the period isn't the point- but it sure seems material to me. If I run you off for a day (let's define being run off as you not being comfortable to post around me- which is how you are defining it) isn't it a bit different if I make you uncomfortable for a year?

Or would the day and the year be equivalent? And what if I make you uncomfortable just by being me? Do I have to stop being me, in order not to make you uncomfortable and "run you off"?

Obviously I don't see how anyone can run anyone else off these boards- but I am genuinely curious in your answers. I've been posted to by all manner of hostile personalities, and I sometimes felt like taking a break- but it was always my choice, my responsibility. I wouldn't say anyone ran me off, no matter how obnoxious I perceived posters to be.
